July Glimpse

Hi!

This post is coming after a little while. I was overwhelmed by the ups and downs of my life and I finally got my spirit back to jog down on this blog.

So, I spent a wonderful week at one English Summer Camp which I had the role of teaching English to Czech kids. I fell in love with the kids a lot! Not that I loved all of them lol. Anyways, the Camp took place in a small town called Mladkov (40mins by train from Brno) I didn't get any sightseeing because I was always exhausted with the kids. Instead, I straightly went for a nap. On the final day, there was so much drama occurring. Some kids teared up with some little issues lol. I miss 'em already! Here's the pic:

Meet Martin
I had the chance of modeling for him. It was really fun doing the photo shoot for him. Plus, I finally found a great photographer for the future fashion posts instead of my bf :D Just so you know, all the pics have been taken by my bf so far. Pardon me if the pics look amateur hihi.
Anyways, last photo session with Martin took place at Špilberk castle, Brno. Pretty empty at that time and I had more self confidence :P

Oh and he's looking for more models if you are around Brno :)

Last thing, I got a feature on Tripanista :D YAY!
If you are unable to click the link above, try this one Tripanista and find me in the Czech Republic tab. I find this website pretty cool that I can share my looks while traveling. Enjoy the site, people!

Take care!

Summer Move Out

BRNO
Brno by population and area is the second largest city in the Czech Republic, the largest Moravian city, and the historical capital city of the Margraviate of Moravia.

Previously mentioned, apparently I made it to move out to Brno for better livelihood. A couple years ago, I didn't get to see Brno into details. Yesterday weekend was a thrill. Friday evening, I walked up to the city center to see one Carnival taken part by art performers. Saturday morning, I took a short walk to the city center again to see retro public transports exhibition which all of those were steered in the past communistic period. Lastly, I took up a short city trip around the center on Sunday. Summer is finally here! Just a quick info, Europe has gotten a late calling due to the weather base. I'm hoping the summer will end late as well :P

Moving on to the summer fashion, I said at the first time, I'm just better at lookin in style in the summer time. So, my mind has recently gone imaginatively wild.
If some of which are wondering about Czech fashion, once I had a talk with a Czech girl currently studying fashion design and she gave me a few questions about Indonesian fashion to be compared with Czech one. Well, as I'm concerned, Korean fashion has quite a big role in Indonesian fashion. Perspectively, I see Korean fashion slightly cute and expressive in the term of colors, without putting so much effort on the face. Personally, I can't keep up with such a style just yet. Second main big role in Indonesian fashion comes from the Great Britain. A little bit of hipster style. British street style has come first to influence Indonesian fashion. I remember the year of early 2000, many youngsters were inspired by British indie artists and it is still hyped.

Overall, I can't really describe the rest because of the diverse influence. Back to the Czech fashion, concerning to all the fashion styles around the world, many of styles are derived from between American street style and British/Western European style. One sad thing I notice, the major colors in Czech fashion are dark colors. There used to be the mindset of looking "bright" in the communistic years and it was considered as something breaking. it can't really be something to blame of. Which is why, some Czechs in here fail to play with colors. So it's easy to imagine how they lived in the black and white period for a long time while others had already exposed.

Denim is the new black

Hello!

I have been idle for a while since the last post. May is treating me very well that I wasn't really allowed to enjoy my spare times. Phewh! However, I am happy to be active :) I am moving out soon. Yay!

Anyways, Spring is turning sad :( The weather keeps being rainy constantly. I was almost sick the other day. Apparently, summer is around the corner hiding somewhere else there ha ha.

It is undeniably true that denim is super wearable. I love how denim fits any style, just like how black blends in well with most outfits. The theme for this post was already in my concept. I tried mix and matching my denim shirt with almost every outfit in my closet and it just incredibly worked. So, I picked the best four looks which are my favorite styles.

Based on the pictures below, I truly wish any comment from you, which one is your most favorite.

First
I got this cute jumper for only IDR 80K (160 CZK) from online store in Indonesia. Super excited!
